The description mentions Hitachi like this is an upgrade of the original. No where on my product or packaging does it say Hitachi. I had the original for years and this one is no where near as powerful. I'm pretty disappointed.
Hi, We've sold this exact product for over 25 years now. About a dozen years ago Hitachi stopped putting their name on the item. It is still the same product, but it is now called the Magic Wand Original and it is still imported by the same company, Vibratex, as always.
Is plug in. Not what I wanted
Yup. It plugs in. It's super powerful and all that power has to come from somewhere. In this case it comes from the wall outlet.
Can't find charging port. The directions show it below the power button, but it is not there.

Auto shuts off after 20 minutes of use can be very mood shattering. Muti speed is nice and head is comfortable.
I called asked about anything more powerful than the magic wand. The man said there is a magic wand plus. I said it had better still plug into the wall and he promised it did. He was right, this thing is even more powerful than my other one. It has more speeds too.
