Here is why. The USA and China have begun a trade war. Over 99% of the toys we sell are made in China and the other 1% is assembled from parts from there. With a 145% tax on vibrators imported to the USA, the prices are going to rise soon. We haven't raised our prices yet because we are still selling inventory that we already own, but that inventory won't last.
We waited to write this newsletter, hoping that things would change, but today certain categories were exempted from the tariffs. Computers and phones were exempted because they are politically popular categories sold by big companies. By contrast, Vibrators are never politically popular and are sold by small companies like us. We will never get exempted, so the outlook is bad for vibrator prices.
